Study of the dynamics of the accumulation of the photosensitizer – liposomal borined chlorine E6 – in experimental tumors of various morphological types

Abstract
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is an effective treatment for superficial malignant tumors. Of great importance for PDT is the determination of the time interval from the injections of a photosensitizer (PS) to laser irradiation.For this purpose, the pharmacokinetics of the level of PS accumulation of liposomal boronated chlorin e6 in tumors and healthy tissues of the thigh after its parenteral injections (intraperitoneal and intravenous) was studied. The experimental tumor models were: sarcoma M-1 and rat alveolar liver cancer RS-1; B16 melanoma and Ehrlich carcinoma of mice that were subcutaneously transplanted into the thigh of animals. The studies were carried out using a laser fluorescent system LESA-01- «Biospek» (Russia). Studies have determined the optimal timing of PDT.
