Abstract
The influence of pine, birch and pine-birch wood stands on the spatial distribution of 137Cs in soil using GIS technology and vertical migration in the soil profile of forest shelter belts (FSB) is shown. The influence of soil ecological conditions on the growth of Scots pine and birch in pure and mixed plantings is defined. The role of the species composition of trees in the redistribution of the radionuclide in the soil profile is revealed. Substantiation is given for the species composition of plantings when conducting rehabilitation activities in the contaminated agro forest landscape.
