Abstract
A brief review of the current state of the issues of development and introduction of radioprotective drugs abroad and analysis of problems in this field in domestic pharmacology is presented. The review is based on the materials of the plenary report discussed during the International Conference of «Problems of Chemical Protection and Reparation in Radiation Impacts» (Dubna, May 30–31, 2018), one of the solutions of which was the proposal to develop new methodological recommendations on the preclinical study of radioprotective drugs.
