Abstract

Exhaustive exercise (EE) before γ-influence on rats with 6.5 Gy dose results in phase variation of radioresistance (RRes) and allows increase in 2.5 times an animal survival in comparison with the irradiated control. The greatest RRes was achieved in 24 hrs after EE; a lymphocyte number in 1 day after γ-influence correlate with percentage of animals lived by 30 days of post-radiation period. The phenomenon of granulocyte number rise more than 40% above the control level after EE may be a predictive index of possibility to enhance the rat RRes.
